Make-up policy.

We focus on a dancer's technique, not his or her body shape. Sensible eating and dance training will naturally lead to a healthy body, so there is no need for dancers to obsess over this. We are very careful not to overemphasize the importance of diet and exercise, as this may cause anxiety and sometimes even more serious mental health issues for dancers.

We believe dance is essentially a cooperative activity, and we prefer to see dancers celebrating their own and the group's progress rather than comparing with others. For this reason we encourage participation in exams rather than competitions

We believe dance has benefits for everyone and are actively trying to increase the number of boys and men enrolled at our school. Our female dancers are not pretty princesses posing for a prince, they are strong and powerful protagonists in their own stories.
